Michael Boudreau, Executive Director

Michael is from Littleton, NH. In May 1997, he graduated from Plymouth State College with a BA in Anthropology. Since 2000, he has lived in Nicaragua and worked as the Executive Director of Compas de Nicaragua.

Michael spends most of his time on his small farm in La Paz, Carazo. He lives in an “eco- house” that he buillt mostly from wood found on his farm. The house includes a bio-gas system for cooking, solar hot water, an eco-toilet, and organic gardens.

When he isn’t guiding service trip groups, he works directly with the Brothers and Sisters in Reconciliation Cooperative in La Paz on sustainable development projects such as organic coffee, micro-lending, and bio-gas systems.


Ana Narvaez, Project Coordinator

Ana is from Managua, Nicaragua. Since the age of 14, she has worked and volunteered on programs to serve her community. She worked for three years as the secretary of the women’s group, ADMUFRA (Fraternal Association of Women) and as a coordinator for the youth environmental group of FACS (Agusto Sandino Foundation). Since 2000, she has worked as the Project Coordinator of Compas de Nicaragua.

Ana coordinates the projects of Women in Action and is also the dance instructor for the WIA youth dance group.  She has trained and choreographed for five WIA dance groups that toured the US in 2004, 2008 and 2010, 2013 and 2015.
